Rebuilding Lives, Restoring Hope

Your past does not define you — what you do next does.

About No More Tears

No More Tears Recovery is a 6-month back-to-work recovery program for men located in Waverly, Tennessee. Our program is designed to help men transition back into society through structure, accountability, employment, life skills, spiritual growth, and long-term recovery support.

At No More Tears Recovery, we believe recovery is more than just sobriety — it is about rebuilding a life. We provide housing, transportation, employment assistance, peer support, and a strong recovery community to help men regain stability and purpose.

Men in the program are housed at one of our two recovery homes, The Forge or Hilltop, while working toward personal growth, responsibility, and independence.

Our mission is simple: helping men rebuild their lives one day at a time.

When I came to NMT, I was not on a winning streak. The wreckage of my past was still showing up, even two years into my recovery. It put me in a place where I had to complete another program, even though I had not used.

That is how I landed at NMT.

They showed me that our past does not define us — it’s the way we choose to face adversity that matters.

Today, I am the Director of Operations, and I am grateful I did not give up five minutes before the miracle. I allowed God to move in my life, and because of that, everything changed.

Recovery is possible. Keep showing up.

The Promise that started it all

“No More Tears Recovery was born from pain, struggle, and a promise.

Founder Mitchell Ross spent years battling addiction, going through more than 20 treatment centers searching for freedom from the cycle that controlled his life.

The final time he entered treatment, he made a promise to his mother — that she would never have to shed another tear over his addiction again.

He kept that promise.

Today, No More Tears Recovery exists to help other men find that same freedom through structure, accountability, employment, community, and recovery support.

What started as one man’s promise has now become a mission to restore lives and rebuild futures — one day at a time.”
